Europe and 'Israel'… A Shaken Partnership

More than 50 years have passed in which the
relationship between Europe and “Israel” appeared to be a fortified bastion,
built upon what they call “the values of democracy and the rule of law.” Glossy
words, yet behind them lies a bitter truth: an alliance built on interests,
turning a blind eye to crimes committed in broad daylight.
In the year 2000, the two parties signed
the Partnership Agreement, opening Europe’s markets to “Israel,” extending
bridges of finance, scientific research, and education, and granting “Israel,”
that emergent state, a privileged position in the heart of the Middle
East—making Europe a steady economic and political backer.
But the laws of Allah prevail, and
falsehood cannot endure forever. The war on Gaza came to unmask the illusion
and place this relationship under a new lens, exposing it before the world.
Europe Waving Sanctions… A Belated Awakening
In the autumn of 2025, some European
circles moved, realizing that partnership with “Israel” was no longer a
partnership with a state abiding by international law, but complicity with an
occupying entity that blatantly violates rights. The European Commission
proposed suspending trade privileges, and if that occurs, billions will slip
from “Israel’s” hands, stripping it of the economic immunity it long enjoyed.
It is a clear message: “Israel” is no
longer above accountability, no longer exempt from the law. Cracks have begun
to appear in a wall the Zionists once thought unshakable.
Recognition of Palestine… A Wave That Cannot Be Stopped
The year 2025 was unlike those before it.
Nations of the West—Britain, Canada, Australia, France, Belgium, Malta—rose to
announce recognition of the State of Palestine. A surging wave, breaking the
political siege and restoring centrality to the Palestinian cause in the
international arena.
“Israel” grew enraged, shaken
on its thrones. Netanyahu declared it “a reward for terrorism,” while his
ministers spoke of annexing the West Bank and burying the idea of a Palestinian
state. Yet all this cannot conceal the greater truth: falsehood weakens when besieged,
and truth grows stronger when it finds witnesses.
The War on Gaza… Unmasking Deception
and Breaking Prestige
The war on Gaza was not merely blood
spilled and bodies torn apart—it was an internal test for “Israel.” The flames
of war devoured its economy: swelling deficits, mounting debts, fleeing
investments, and downgrading credit ratings.
“Israel” imagined that military might would
cover its inner weakness, only to discover that the blood it shed in Gaza was
being drained from its own economic and political body. The very weapons that
once lifted its head now burden it with debt, fragility, and decline.
Europe Redefines Partnership… From
Privilege to Condition
It is time for Brussels to declare: no
partnership without conditions, no trade without commitment. Mere diplomatic
statements no longer suffice—Europe now brandishes economic measures and
sanctions against settlers.
It is the beginning of a shift in the
balance of power: a partnership once granting “Israel” privileges now turns
conditional, hanging by a fragile thread of “respect for human rights.” The
very condition long trampled under the occupation’s boots now rises to become a
noose around its neck.
Saudi Arabia and Deferred
Normalization… A Stand at the Gates of Truth
On the regional stage, Saudi Arabia
announced it plainly: no normalization with “Israel” without a Palestinian
state. Negotiations halted, revealing that the path once opening before
“Israel” to penetrate the Arab world has now been blocked—by the blood of Gaza
and the steadfastness of its people.
“Israel” thought its road to Riyadh was
clear, but found it instead paved with blood and tears—opened only by a heavy
price: recognition of Palestinian rights. Otherwise, isolation is its destiny.
This is a decisive moment in the history of
Europe’s relationship with “Israel.” Money no longer conceals blood, slogans no
longer mask falsehood. The war on Gaza, international recognition of Palestine,
and “Israel’s” economic collapse—all stand as testimony that the laws of Allah
favor no one.
Truth rises even if the road is long, and
falsehood crumbles even if it appears mighty. These events are but one chapter
in the eternal struggle between truth and falsehood, in which Allah’s promise
prevails: “And Allah wipes out falsehood and
establishes the truth by His Words” (Ash-Shura
42:24).
