Hamas returns to rule!
(Fighting is ordained for you,
though you dislike it. You may dislike something although it is good for you,
or like something although it is bad for you: God knows and you do not.’) (
Al-Baqarah:216)
Imam
Ibn Kathir, may Allah have mercy on him, commented on this verse, saying:
“Though
fighting is naturally disliked, it leads to victory, triumph over the enemies,
and the attainment of their lands, wealth, and offspring outcomes that
ultimately bring benefit and honor to the believers.
Sayyid
Qutb, in Fi Zilal al-Qur’an (In the Shade of the
Qur’an),
writes:
“Fighting
in the cause of Allah is a hard and demanding duty yet it is a duty that must be fulfilled. It
must be fulfilled because it brings great good: for the individual Muslim, for
the Muslim community, for all humanity, and for the cause of truth, goodness,
and righteousness.
After
the ceasefire, many expected Hamas to vanish
either from Gaza or from Arab memory altogether!
But none of that happened.
The
Zionists, and those behind them, were astonished by Hamas’s renewed strength by its
leadership, resilience, and the professional, civic way it now governs Gaza.
Hamas Surprises the World — From
Resistance to Leadership
In a
shocking statement broadcast by Channel 12 in Israel, General Itzhak Brik one of the most prominent
military analysts within the Israeli security establishment expressed unmistakable astonishment and
disbelief as he described the situation in Gaza following the announcement of
the end of the war.
The
very man who had once predicted Hamas’s demise, buried beneath the rubble, now
found himself facing a scene he could not comprehend.
He asked: “What enables Hamas to regain full field control with such speed
and decisiveness? And who gave it the confidence to redeploy 7,000 armed police
officers in less than 24 hours after the ceasefire — just hundreds of meters
away from the Israel Defense Forces?
Thus
wondered Brik before admitting, with a
tone of astonishment tinged with defeat, that what is happening on the ground
bears no resemblance to any of the assumptions on which the war was launched.
All indicators, he conceded, point to Hamas once again holding the reins of
power in the field.
Following
the ceasefire, Hamas’s administration began deploying armed civil police,
reactivating municipalities and hospitals, restoring electricity, water, and
public sanitation, reopening the central bank in Deiral-Balah, and imposing strict economic oversight on the markets to prevent
monopolies.
Those
who once vowed to remove Hamas from power now find it ruling again but this time with doubled awareness and
experience.
Gaza… The Miracle That Left the World in
Awe
What
Brik clearly hints at is that Gaza the city they sought to bury has
risen from beneath the rubble to declare its rebirth. It did not wait for
reconstruction conferences or humiliating agreements; instead, it began
rebuilding itself, by itself.
The
general’s acknowledgment is more than a military analysis; it is a political
document from the heart of the Israeli establishment an
unintended admission that Hamas has won the battle for survival, and perhaps
something even deeper: the battle for consciousness and sovereignty.
When
the Muslims faced their enemy despite their small numbers, limited means,
and scarce resources they did so with
profound faith, whatever strength they could muster, immense trust in Allah,
and a deep love for their religion and creed, driven by an overwhelming desire
to achieve victory for their faith, their cause, and their message.
As a result, blessings, wealth, and prosperity poured upon them in ways they
could never have imagined. (He passed on to you their land, their
houses, their possessions, and a land where you had not set foot: God has power
over everything.) ( Al-Ahzab:27)
Narrated
by al-Bukhari and Muslim in their Sahih collections, from Abu Hurayra, that the
Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, said:
“The last Hour will not be established until you fight the
Jews, and a Jew will hide behind a stone, or a tree and the stone will say: ‘O
Muslim, this is a Jew behind me; come and kill him.’”
And
in another narration in Sahih Muslim:
“The last hour would not come unless the
Muslims will fight against the Jews and the Muslims would kill them until the
Jews would hide themselves behind a stone or a tree and a stone or a tree would
say: Muslim, or the servant of Allah, there is a Jew behind me; come and kill
him; but the tree Gharqad would not say, for it is the tree of
the Jews.
O
Allah, Revealer of the Book, Mover of the clouds, Swift in reckoning, Defeater
of the confederates (or: scatterer of the parties), defeat the criminal
Zionists and the unjust enemies of Islam. O Allah, defeat them, make them
tremble, and grant victory to the Muslims over them.
And
Allah is the Greatest, and to Allah belongs all praise.
