Students Take Center Stage on Day Ten of the 47th Islamic Book Fair Featured

The activities of the 47th Islamic Book Fair continue for the tenth consecutive day amidst a vibrant and creative atmosphere that reflects the depth of Islamic thought and its renewed commitment to establishing values and enhancing cultural awareness.

Energetic Student Presence and Intellectual Engagement

Student attendance was a prominent focus of today's (Wednesday) activities, as the fair's corridors were filled in the morning with male and female school students. This scene expressed their passion for knowledge and their significant interaction with the cultural programs on display. Their contributions were lively and impactful, including moving Quranic recitations and the recitation of national and educational poems that glorified reading and knowledge.

Islamic Education Competition Sparks Collaboration

The events began with a competition organized by the Islamic Education Guidance on the stage of the Social Reform Society. It included questions on the Prophet's biography, jurisprudence, and Islamic history, alongside kinetic activities that stimulated the spirit of cooperation and teamwork among the students, amidst remarkable interaction and renewed youthful enthusiasm.

Interactive Workshops and Intellectual Growth at "Athar" Center

At the "Athar" Social Center, interactive events continued with great momentum through workshops, discussion sessions, and intellectual competitions aimed at various age groups. These focused on developing critical and creative thinking skills and provided participants with the opportunity to express their talents in an inspiring cultural atmosphere that combined benefit and enjoyment.

First Aid Training Enhances Practical Skills

The center also organized a first aid training course for school students, aiming to enhance health awareness and the ability to deal with emergencies, adding a practical dimension to the interaction and participation in the events.

It is worth mentioning that the exhibition, organized by the Social Reform Society at its headquarters in the Al-Rawda area under the slogan "Towards Civilizational Awareness," is held under the generous patronage of His Excellency the Minister of Information and Culture and Minister of State for Youth Affairs, Abdulrahman Al-Mutairi, and will continue until May 3, 2025.

More than 120 entities and publishing houses from the Gulf, the Levant, and the Arab Maghreb are participating in the exhibition, in addition to a number of European publishing houses. This reflects the global nature of the exhibition and its status as a leading cultural and intellectual forum.
